Social Enterprise Accreditation Awarded to NORDECO

Nordeco has become officially accredited as a Social Enterprise by the Danish Government.

To our knowledge, Nordeco is the first Danish non-governmental organisation that obtains this prestigious status. This status can only be provided to enterprises that can document they have a social purpose, undertake business, are independent of the government, are inclusive and responsible in their work, and take a social approach to the use of their surplus.

The accreditation is provided by the Danish Government in accordance with a new law agreed in 2014. Further information available here.
