Formulation of Danida Country Programme in Bangladesh

Nordeco provided a team member for formulation of Danida's Country Programme for Bangladesh for 2016-2021. The programme adopts a Human Rights Based Approach. The team member has special responsibility for the Agricultural Growth and Employment Programme with two components mainly dealing with large-scale capacity building through Farmer Field Schools and associated support to farmers' organizations and their participation in local governance. It further promotes climate-resilient methods in farming, both in main lowland Bangladesh and in the Chittagong Hill Tracts. Client: Danish Embassy in Dhaka
