Arctic Observing Summit Stakeholder Discussions

The Arctic Observing Summit is a high-level summit that includes scientists, policy makers and Arctic Indigenous peoples and discusses research and monitoring in the Arctic.

The meeting this year included discussions on community involvement in monitoring of natural resources. It took place in Helsinki, Finland, April 9 - 11, 2014. Finn Danielsen of Nordic Foundation for Development and Ecology was asked by the Greenland Government to participate in the panel and to share his experiences.
