Martin Enghoff is Senior Consultant and Director of NORDECO. He has

twenty-five years of experience working with programmes and projects for

improving livelihoods and sustainable development in Africa, Asia, Europe

and the Arctic. Key qualifications include:

 

• Rural development and green growth (incl. small-scale agriculture,

       pastoral production, small-scale fisheries, value chains, employment creation and integrated          planning)

• Integrated management of natural resources (incl. forestry, water resources, wetlands, rangelands, biodiversity and community based management of natural resources)

• Environmental management, impact assessments and strengthening of environment sector institutions

• Climate change adaptation, mitigation and resilience building

• Governance issues in development (incl. human rights based approaches, tenure, indigenous peoples rights, democratisation, participation and gender)

• Humanitarian action and refugees

• Civil society organisations development and performance

• Private sector development, sustainability, Access and Benefit Sharing, CSR and social impacts

• Training, extension, participatory monitoring and integrated socio-economic, environment studies

 

He has worked extensively with identifications, feasibility studies, appraisals, reviews, evaluations and as team-leader for interdisciplinary teams and project director with responsibility for quality-assurance, backstopping and contract administration. Has worked directly with governments, civil society organisations and private sector and has long experience in capacity development programmes.
