Finn Danielsen was co-founder of Nordic Foundation for Development

and Ecology and NORDECO. Finn has long experience with 

community-based natural resource management including

participatory monitoring.

Current activities include:

• European Union Projects FRAMEwork, ECS, BESTLIFE2030 and MoRe4nature

• Facilitator PISUNA and PISUNA-net, Greenland Government’s participatory monitoring and management system (Opening Doors to Native Knowledge).

• Editorial Board BioScience, Conservation Letters, Citizen Science: Theory and Practice. 

• Coordinator of the International Monitoring Matters Network.

• Commission member of IUCN.
