Climate Biologist, Citizen Science, Sustainable Tourism and Climate

Change, Ph.D.

 

Astrid has long experience with environmental and climate change studies in the

Arctic. She also has experience from natural resource management programmes

in East Africa and South East Asia. 

 

Current activities include: 

 

• Developing citizen science ICT solutions for climate change, biodiversity and natural resource management initiatives

• Reviewing and supervising Sustainable Tourism initiatives 

• Developing climate change proxy indicators for citizen and community based programmes 

 

She has experience with international cross disciplinary project management within natural resource management in the Arctic, Africa and South Asia. Other key areas of expertise include outreach and education to the public, and product management and development in the tourism sector.
