Nordeco provides technical assistance to the EU delegation in Cambodia on how to integrate environmental and climate change issues into its new round of country programming. The output is a Country Environmental Profile (CEP), which integrates all available information on the state of as well as pressures on the environment in Cambodia and its international and regional obligations, legislation, policies, institutional mandates and practices as well as donor activities in the fields of environment and climate change.

The CEP thus provides recommendations on how to consider and deal with environmental sustainability in all aspects of country programming and climate change processes and identifies linkages and relationships between poverty, economic performance, governance, rights and environmental management.
