Journalism Course Copenhagen Climate Summit 2009

NORDECO and Danicom are offering a two step course to journalists in connection with the 2009 Copenhagen Climate Summit COP 15.

The overall objective of the training course is to improve and facilitate the participation of selected developing countries in the global climate debate by improving their knowledge about climate issues. The course is intended for senior reporters from dominant public or private media organisations in their home countries. Influence and impact on the local public agenda should be a key factor in the selection process.

The course is divided in two parts: Three weeks training on climate issues and journalism in June and July 2009 and two weeks participation in the COP 15 summit in December 2009.

The course methodology is action oriented and includes case studies and field trips.
