Water resources

Nordeco believes that water resources management requires a balanced approach that combines technological issues with social, institutional and ecological dimensions.

Our expertise includes integrated water resources management, conservation and sustainable use of wetlands, coastal and marine resource management, stakeholder participation and development of community based water associations, water conflict resolution and capacity development at national and local levels.

We have provided technical assistance to water-, wetland- and coastal resources management in Africa, Asian and Latin America for a variety of donors and national governments. We furthermore engage actively in collaborative analysis and applied research on issues such as wetland conservation, upland watershed management and water conflict resolution.

Nordeco is a member of the Danish Water Forum.
