Strategic Environmental Assessment

Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) is an important tool for integrating environmental considerations into the preparation and adoption of plans and programmes, which are likely to have significant effects on the environment. Undertaking SEA ensures that such effects of implementing plans and programmes are taken into account during their preparation and before their adoption.

NORDECO provides advice and technical assistance to planning, design and implementation of SEA, including consultations and monitoring. We also undertake country environmental assessments and elaboration of state of the environment reports.
